A KINGSWINFORD man has been remanded in custody to await sentence after being found guilty of drug dealing.
Paul Malpass, aged 35, from Highview Drive, was convicted at Worcester Crown Court on February 20 of conspiring to supply cocaine.
Malpass denied the charge but was found guilty after the court was told he and five other men accused with him had been seen participating in a drugs transaction at a pub in Redditch last June.
They were all subsequently arrested at different locations and officers seized half a kilo of cocaine which was discovered in a car belonging to one of the co-accused, 19-year-old Liam Pitt of Ostler Close, Kingswinford.
Pitt along with Craig Davies, aged 24, from Standhills Road, Kingswinford; Martin Sadler, aged 29, from Cecil Drive, Oldbury; Darren Jones, aged 34, from Bells Lane, Stourbridge and Kristoffer Bell, aged 31, from Evesham Road, Redditch, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply class A drugs when they appeared in court last September (2011).
Pitt has been bailed and the others have been remanded in custody until they are sentenced next month.
